Why publishing this blog

This blog is a collection of perspectives for managers and HR professionals who want to shape learning processes in organizations. It deals with the question of how we can design and align corporate learning in a rapidly changing world. It is a search for strategic effectiveness and the correct handling of complexity and dynamics. I look at the capability of companies to perform and change – and the interaction between strategy, organization, learning & development, leadership and culture.

About me

My name is Philipp Simanek. As an expert in personnel and organizational development, I have worked for a wide variety of companies. Most recently, I was responsible for leadership development and the corporate academy in a large, exchange-listed (MDAX) company.

Today I work as a consultant for companies that want to become or remain a highperformer in dynamic environments. In addition, I regularly hold inspiring keynote speeches on modern corporate leadership and re-design HR at conferences and congresses.

As an HR manager I have gained experience in different industries. My academic education includes the subjects of business administration, sociology, political science, and media studies.

I enjoy networking and am always curious. For example, as an active member of the intrisify network for modern corporate management as head of the section for personnel and organisational development in the German federation of HR managers (BPM).
